Submitted By Webmaster on Monday, October 9, 2017
Ringette players, parents and fans have a unique opportunity this season to attend some awesome AAA ringette games.

Thanks to a co-operative effort between Markham, Richmond Hill and Newmarket the AAA Challenge Cup will be hosted twice in York Region this season. The dates will be December 8-10, 2017 and February 16-18, 2018.

The AAA Challenge Cup exhibition series is hosted every 2 years and feature “all-star” teams from the five regions (Eastern, Central, North-East, Southern and Western) plus one team (United) comprised of players from across the province. These teams will go on to compete in the Ontario Winter Games and then players from the group will be selected for Team Ontario (Canada Games).

There are two age groups who compete in the Challenge Cup series, U16 and U19. The players have great skill in skating, passing, shooting and team play. This is an awesome opportunity for players and parents to watch some of the best ringette of the season. It will be fun, it will be fast and it will be exciting to watch!!

Mark your calendars, get to the rink and enjoy some great ringette. More details will be posted as game schedule and times are confirmed. The Challenge Cup series will also feature games in Richmond Hill and Newmarket.

The complete Challenge Cup schedule can be found here .
