AAA Challenge Cup
Submitted By harleychow on Tue 12 12, 17
The AAA Challenge Cup exhibition series is hosted every 2 years and feature “all-star” teams from the five regions (Eastern, Central, North-East, Southern and Western) plus one team (United) comprised of players from across the province. These teams will go on to compete in the Ontario Winter Games and then players from the group will be selected for Team Ontario (Canada Games).

This is an awesome opportunity for players and parents to watch some of the best and fastest ringette of the season. Watch U16 and U19 players compete! The players have great skill in skating, passing, shooting and team play.

York region AAA Challenge Cup Markham, Richmond Hill and Newmarket Ringette joined forces to host the York Region AAA Challenge Cup. Sixteen exciting games with the best players from all over Ontario.

All teams put forth great effort from all their players; however, only one team came home with the Gold. Our very own Southern Team finished in first place in round robin and went on to play the Western Team for the finals. Southern came on top with a tight 2 - 1 score.

Congratulations to all the players and coaches. Especially all the Markham, Richmond Hill and Newmarket players.
