Markham 4 on 4 Spring Ringette

UPDATE: As per the latest direction from Ringette Ontario and Southern Region, all Ringette activities have been CANCELLED until further notice. Registered participants in our Spring Ringette program who have also paid their fee will be contacted with information on refunds or, for players within our association, the option of a credit towards next season's registration fee.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the closure of all Markham Community Centres and Recreational Facilities, the dates listed below for Markham Spring Ringette may be modified or cancelled altogether. We will update our website and all registered participants will be contacted with more details once we have them.

Markham's popular 4 on 4 Spring Ringette season is back on Sunday evenings!  It's a great way to keep in shape for tryouts or just for fun!

The following divisions are being offered:

Open Division (GOALIE SPOTS ARE FULL!)
U16/U19 Division (GOALIE SPOTS ARE FULL!)
U12/U14 Division (GOALIE 2 SPOTS LEFT)

OPEN, 4 ON 4
For players born during or before 2001.
Fast-paced 4 on 4, TWO teams capped at 12 skaters, 90 second shifts, opposing lines will be skill-matched, refereed, no coaching allowed. Play with your friends from home.

Schedule: Sundays, April 26th, May 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, June 7th, 14th and 21st, 2020.
Time: 8pm start.
Rink: Angus Glen C.C. – West Rink
Cost: Eight games for $160.00 (Goalies are free GOALIE SPOTS ARE FULL!)
Convenors: Fernanda Serroul and Alex Serroul


U16/U19, 4 on 4

For players born in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006* (*2006 - U14A or U14AA experience)
Fast-paced 4 on 4, FOUR teams capped at 12 skaters, 90 second shifts, opposing lines will be skill-matched, refereed, no coaching allowed. Play with your friends just for fun or to prepare for tryouts and sort-outs.

Schedule: Sundays, April 5th, 19th, 26th, May 3rd, 10th, 2020
Time: Alternating 6pm or 7pm start
Rink: Angus Glen C.C. – West Rink
Cost: Five games for $100.00 (Goalies are free GOALIE SPOTS ARE FULL!)
Convenors: Daryl Maier and Lilly Ing


U14/U12, 4 on 4
For players born in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 (Regional or Provincial experience)
Fast-paced 4 on 4, FOUR teams capped at 12 skaters, 90 second shifts, opposing lines will be skill-matched, refereed, no coaching allowed. Play with your friends just for fun or to prepare for tryouts and sort-outs.

Schedule: Sundays, April 5th, 19th, 26th, May 3rd, 10th, 17th, 2020 (April 5th – only U14 division and May 17th – only U12 division)
Time: Alternating 4pm or 5pm start
Rink: Angus Glen C.C. – West Rink
Cost: Five games for $100.00 (Goalies are free - GOALIE 2 SPOTS LEFT)
Convenor: Marie Scott


Registration is a 2 step process:

  1. Complete the registration form on the website: 2020 MRRA Spring Ringette.
  2. Remit payment via e-transfer to [email protected]

If you are not currently registered with a Ringette Association, a $50 insurance fee applies.
