Registration is now OPEN for the 2020-2021 Season
Submitted By Webmaster on Sun 07 12, 20
MRRA is happy to open registration for the 2020-21 Ringette season.
Ringette Ontario has published the “Return to Ringette" guidelines, developing a 5-stage process. We are currently on Stage 1 until at least September 1st , 2020. Assuming we move to Stage 2 “Return to Modified Training” in September, MRRA’s Executive Board is hard at work planning what Stage 2 will look like in the Fall.
Accurate registration numbers are very important to the planning process of our 2020-21 Ringette season as we have to take into account several factors:
- Limit to the number of players on the ice
- Limit to the number of coaches and bench staff
- Modified practices and modified scrimmages
- Preparation of players before a practice
- Enhanced procedures for cleaning and sanitizing before and after practices
It is for this reason that we kindly ask you to please register and pay your deposit by July 31st, 2020 as we need to know with some certainty how much ice our association will require.
Provincial Tryouts: We will wait for specific guidance from Ringette Ontario and Southern Region to coordinate our tryout schedule. Tryouts are likely happening after all players return to the ice and start training. We will release detailed information as soon as it is available.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
MRRA intends to ice the following teams:
18+A*, 18+B*, U19A, U19B, U16A, U14AA, U14A, U12A, U12C, U10 and U8 FUNdamentals.
* Tournament only team (second half of the season)
We will also offer the Bear Cubs program.
- A deposit will be required at registration:
$100 for Bear Cubs (U6, U8 and new players)
$200 for 18+ players
$300 for any U10 to U19 player
-
The balance of the registration fees will be due once the player is placed on a team roster and will depend on the number of players allowed on the ice and the timing to form the teams.
- Any player who registers with MRRA but ends up accepting a position with another association will have all prorated funds transferred on their behalf to the new association.
REGISTRATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS
This year, we are using the RAMP interactive registration system for all players in Ontario.
You will need to create a family account on RAMP to register all your players. The link to the system is here: RAMP Interactive Registration System. It is also on our website’s RAMP registration tab.
If you don’t know the Ringette Ontario number for your child, please leave it blank and we will add it later on.
The online registration includes a Concussion Awareness declaration for all players aged 26 and below and all parents of players aged 18 and below in accordance with Rowan’s Law.
The Promo Code is used to deduct the amount we credited to you for last season’s unused ice. Please enter the code (Bear Cubs Tuesday Only, Bear Cubs Full program, U10, U12P, U14A Fraser, U14A Arnott, U16A or U16B) that refers to your child’s team or program for last season. This will be verified by the registrar after we receive your registration.
Please note that if you paid for Springette, we will deduct that amount from your registration as well. There is no promo code for it as the system doesn’t allow two promo codes for one player.
There are two options for payment: Email Transfer or Cheque.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding registration, please contact the registrar at [email protected]
