New Lockdown on York Region starting Monday Dec 14

Hello Markham Ringette
We just heard from the media about the Government of Ontario putting York Region on Lockdown starting this Monday Dec 14 until further notice, AND we also know that the earliest we can return will be after Jan 10, since Ringette Ontario has made a ringette hiatus after Christmas to Jan 10, mandatory.
There are people on your Executive team that have been working really hard for you to get all the ringette ice you can get this fall and looking forward to the winter in January and beyond. Please do not have any ringette team parties/dinners/get togethers, do it all virtually (online). We want to start again with everyone healthy and safe and back to ringette in the next month.
We hope that you all have a good rest, and some family time during the Festive Season, and everyone says a prayer for a really Happy New Year 2021.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2021!
