Hello Bears Parents and Players, Welcome to the new Ringette Season 2022-23!

First, you will notice that our new website Markham-Stouffvilleringette.com is alive and this is where you will get all the current information and where to go to register the players/coaches/volunteers.

There is a change to the registration system when you register on the RAMP system, (link is on top of website), there are now two parts: one payment for the Ringette Ontario fees will go directly to RO by credit card, and the Home Association costs will go directly to MSRA by e-transfer. We adjusted our fees to reflect this change. All players must register with their Home Association first, with the RO fees. even if they are playing in another Association. If you have a personal situation where you cannot pay all the fees at once, please contact our treasurer to work out a solution. Also all parents must have the course: Respect In Sport-Parent Program before doing the registration.

Second, we will be back at Milliken in Sept, hopefully for the first practice dates. We will be having our Early Bear one-day event on Sat Sept 10 at Angus Glen, as well as a Come Try Ringette. If you are not playing in the EB, we can use your help for the Come Try, and for timekeepers/scorekeepers/Shot Clock. Stouffville will be continuing the Learn to Play program in the fall, we will need some volunteers for Sat mornings there also.Right now, it looks like it may be an almost normal season, there are tournaments booked and the leagues are getting ready to host games, and we may be using the new electronic scoresheets, so all coaches/managers should be doing the new RAMP e-sheet training, link will be provided. All of the current email links for the executive are working, so if you have any questions, please contact us. We are still in need of some board members so if you know anyone that could fill a role please suggest their name to us, to review and appoint.Looking forward to a successful season, GO BEARS GO
