MRRA Refund Policy

OUR WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY

We are closely monitoring Health Authorities, Ringette Ontario and the City of Markham statements regarding COVID-19 and following guidelines from these instances. The well-being of our membership is of paramount importance.

In the event of the City of Markham, Ringette Ontario or Markham Ringette cancel a portion of the 2022-2023 season, all players will be reimbursed the equivalent of the ice time lost.

Note: This policy pertains solely to the MSRA seasonal player Registration Fees. Individual Team Fees are at the sole discretion of the Bench Staff associated with the MSRA player.

If a player decides to withdraw:

The withdrawal has to be in written form by email to the registrar (registrar@markhamringette.com)

• 100% refund if a player withdrawal is received before the player steps on the ice and/or before the start of the program.
• If a player withdraws after evaluations/tryouts, but before September 1st, MSRA will provide full registration fee refund minus a $70.00 administration fee.
• If a player withdraws for any reason prior to October 31st, a $70 administration fee and 50% of the seasonal registration fee will be deducted from their refund/credit.
• If a player withdraws for any reason after October 31st, no refund will be considered.

Registration fee refunds for players withdrawing for Ringette related injuries while participating on an MSRA program,  will receive a prorated refund based on the date of the injury. Withdrawal has to be prior to March 10th for refund/credit to be considered. 

Registration fee refunds for players withdrawing for medical reasons or an injury sustained outside of their participation on an MSRA program will need to provide a medical note. MSRA will provide a registration fee refund/credit on a case by case basis.
